A downloadable Addon package

The UBERNEZA RPG Addon for Invector Shooter Template (UNITY)

This kit introduces several systems built for the Invector Shooter template to get you started towards your prototype RPG! Featuring A stats and experience based progression system, as well as a new mana and spell control system, you'll be able to quickly flesh out a basic RPG using Invector's amazing controller. 

Built using unity 2019.3 and Invector 2.5.6b, the current build integrates a system using three prime stats to manage your health, stamina and mana amount, as well as skills that dictate your prowess with melee, ranged and spell based weapons, as well as your movement speed. The integrated spell system also allows you to create spell weapons, using a mix of the shooter aim mechanics and an AOE selector. There is also an armour system that utilises resistance values, so you can assign damage types and equipment that makes your character more resilient to specific types of damage. There is even a UI page dedicated to the character stats and levelling up. There is also now a Vendor system that allows you to sell items to a player for in game currency.  AND NOW THERE IS A RUDIMENTARY DIALOGUE AND QUEST SYSTEM with a node based dialogue editor allowing for branching dialogue and condition checks.

Out of the box, the system works with Invector's AI, as well as inanimate objects with the health controller. Integration with Emerald AI is planned for a future update, as well as integration with PixelCrusher's Quest Machine and Dialogue System.


This project is a WIP, the core functionality is there, but further effort into a kingdom building and NPC army management system is planned, though a definite timeline for this is not discernible. 

This system is being developed for use in our own personal projects, and thus it is hard coded, so it's not super open, but by implementing the code you can see what parts of the main template I have targeted and you can build up from there or alter it to fit your project. That being said, this code isn't as beginner friendly as the free version, it requires an intermediate understanding of C# and is best for people who know a bit about how to set up Invector's template. Included with the package is a list of the code changes, and I will be creating a video series to show how to use the features of the system in the future. 


I intend on updating this page as I include more things over the course of the next month. Again it must be stressed, what you are paying for is what is shown in the attached "before you buy" video at the time of purchase (there are now more features than in this video, please check the update posts).

v1.2 UPDATES:

UPDATE 2.5.6bSaveLoad_Messages!

I have re-released the entire kit upgraded to 2.5.6.  The save/load function has now been expanded to include quest/dialogue status, as well as player stats and inventory. This is useful for when you're transitioning scenes. It does not yet include world position data, that will be in a future update. I have also included an example messaging system that uses the vTrigger script to trigger a dialogue event. This can also double as a save point.
