uberMORPG - DungeonMaster Movement Prototype

Part of the Uber-MORPG series of prototype player controllers, uMORPG_DM_Mover is a first person character controller built using Unity's tilemap system with Fish Networking. The controller features a simple server authoritative networked movement system, which utilises the tilemap system to determine barriers and obstacles without the need for colliders. 

Also included in the prototype, is the action ability cooldown system that uses the tick rate of a server to determine cooldowns without the need for co-routines.

Like the other controllers, this system is considered a "prototype", it is created for demonstrative purposes to allow users to learn how to work with Unity and Fish-Networking.  It is but only a single way to handle movement across the network and has not undergone professional refactoring. 

The code is annotated with comments to explain various functions and scripts, and is intended for an audience with some proficiency in C# and understanding of networking structures with Unity. 

CONSUMER RIGHTS POLICY:

As a personal advocate for consumer rights in the digital space, I have often found digital platforms such as the Unity Asset Store and even itch have policies that conflict with my own nation's consumer protections. As such, I operate my sales in accordance with my nation's regulations. They can be found here ACCC 

In regards to refund policy, the aforementioned authorities dictate no time based restriction to the refund of a purchase should it be found to be in breach of consumer garauntee including major problems with a product.

A product or good has a major problem when:

• it has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they’d known about it
• it has multiple minor problems that, when taken as a whole, would have stopped someone from buying it if they’d known about them
• it is significantly different from the sample or description
• it is substantially unfit for its common purpose and can’t easily be fixed within a reasonable time
• it doesn’t do what you asked for and can’t easily be fixed within a reasonable time; or
• it is unsafe.

However, there are exceptions to the garauntee.

Consumer guarantees do not apply if you:

• got what you asked for but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it
• misused a product in any way that caused the problem
• knew of or were made aware of the faults before you bought the product

As a result, I offer refunds on purchases in accordance with the terms outlined above, irrespective of any conditions that may be implied by the sales platform. Should any significant faults with the product be discovered, please contact me in the first instance to seek remediation.
